The First Sludgosopher

Hi! I’m Catherine, founder of Sludge.

As a former athlete and lifelong foodie, I’ve always had one problem: finding high-protein desserts that don’t taste like… well, protein.

Every time I searched for a quick, healthy cookie dough recipe, I ran into the same problems: too many calories, too little protein, or a list of obscure ingredients I definitely didn’t have in my pantry.

So I did what I usually do when faced with a good problem—I went to the kitchen. With a master’s degree in Food Science and a Patisserie Certificate from Le Cordon Bleu, I figured I had a decent shot at figuring it out.

After a lot of experimenting (and tasting), Sludge was born—a way to satisfy my craving for a high-protein, low calorie treat while simplifying those random ingredients into one blend. Just add plain Greek yogurt, and you get exactly that.
